David Servidio, PE, has worked with major utilities to protect public health and water resources throughout his 28-year career. As Water Resources Client Services Director, David will expand our water resources market in the Northeast and assist clients on wastewater collection system and wet weather control improvements. He enjoys the challenges of large, complex projects, utilizing standard and alternative delivery methods, and achieving successful results by fostering collaborative teams and effectively managing risk.
David brings strong expertise in combined sewer overflow (CSO) and wet weather control design including large-scale CSO storage and conveyance tunnels. He has worked on some of the largest CSO control programs in the country and abroad including Cleveland, Akron, New York City, Atlanta, Hartford, Philadelphia, and London UK. A familiar face to many of our clients, he has been involved in CSO and collection system improvements for the Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District for more than 20 years, and wastewater and CSO tunnel projects for the New York City Department of Environmental Protection (NYCDEP) for 8 years. He is currently working on NYCDEP’s Bronx River CSO Long Term Control Plan project as well as the Allegheny County Sanitary Authority’s Tunnel Program Management project for Clean Water Plan implementation in Pittsburgh.
Active in the Water Environment Federation (WEF) Collection Systems Committee, David serves on the Specialty Conference Subcommittee to enhance educational resources for members, and the Strategic Planning Subcommittee to guide future efforts. He also participates in the WEFTEC Workshop Subcommittee, reviewing and guiding selection of speaker proposals for workshops. He has authored publications and served as an instructor for a Rapid Excavation and Tunneling Conference Shafts Design and Construction Short Course. David holds a BS in Civil Engineering from Purdue University.
