A major Michigan natural gas provider’s asset management group routinely performs condition assessments and risk modeling to identify needs for new or replacement pipe and keep pipelines working at optimal capacity. As an Engineer of Choice for distribution main design since 2014, Wade Trim has executed statewide gas main designs; coordinated permitting, materials lists, and work order packets; and identified third-party utility conflicts with proposed designs for new and replacement distribution main. Tasks typically include field visits, pipeline routing, easement coordination, verification of compliance with client and agency standards, and customer coordination.
