Wayne Hofmann has joined our Municipal Services Group as Client Funding Director where he will bolster our efforts to help clients target and secure funding for infrastructure projects. Leading our process known as FundingScout, he will help our staff members monitor, evaluate, and share information with clients on emerging and existing funding sources. He will work with staff members and clients to strategize and execute the grant writing and communication needed to develop successful applications.

Wayne brings a broad understanding of federal, state, and local funding sources and 15 years of experience securing grants and loans for communities and businesses. He previously worked as a Project Development Lead with a construction management firm and as a consultant for several real estate development projects and the Michigan Small Business Development Center. Active in his local community, Wayne served as past Chair of Bay Future, Inc., and the Great Lakes Bay Economic Club, as well as President of the Saginaw Basin Land Conservancy. In 2019, he received a Great Lakes Bay Magazine Ruby Award for outstanding professionals under 40 in the region. Based in Bay City, MI, Wayne will serve clients across Wade Trim’s geographic areas.
