Isabel Fernandez-Maillard has joined Wade Trim as a Senior Project Manager in our Construction Group. With over 20 years of experience managing large-scale construction projects valued at up to $6 billion, Isabel brings a wealth of expertise in heavy civil, deep excavation, transportation, energy, and light rail transit projects. Her technical experience encompasses project management, construction engineering, team and subcontractor supervision, operational planning and execution, utility and stakeholder coordination, engineering integration, safety, quality assurance, schedule adherence, and cost control.
Isabel has a proven ability to build strong, effective relationships with stakeholders on complex infrastructure projects. As Senior Project Manager, she is already contributing her expertise for construction engineering and inspection of the Charter Township of Redford’s Central Combined Sewer Overflow Retention Treatment Basin project. Designed by Wade Trim, this new, $100-million undertaking will help bring the Township into compliance with their National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Permit requirements. Isabel’s past notable projects include the Gordie Howe International Bridge and the Réseau Express Métropolitain (REM) in Montreal.
A graduate of McGill University, Isabel earned a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Civil Engineering with a Minor in Construction Engineering and Management. She is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and fluent in French and Spanish.
