After retiring a 40+ year career with Wade Trim, Mark Coleman, PE, continues to be recognized for his contributions to the public water supply field. The Michigan Section of the American Water Works Association (MI-AWWA) inducted Mark into the Michigan Water Industry Hall of Fame at their Annual Conference in September 2023.
Mark built his career helping communities plan, design, and construct new water-related infrastructure and rehabilitate existing assets to deliver safe drinking water to consumers. He also led large-scale water resources projects in Detroit, Wayne and Genesee Counties, Pittsburgh, Omaha, Cleveland, Cincinnati, and New York.
MI-AWWA represents more than 1,500 water professionals dedicated to treating, delivering, and protecting clean, safe water for Michigan communities. An AWWA Life Member, Mark has held a wide variety of roles on the Association and local levels including Association Vice President, Michigan Section Director, and AWWA Executive Committee and Board member. He was previously recognized as AWWA Volunteer of the Year and honored with the George Warren Fuller and Raymond J. Faust Awards.
