Dan Brooks, PE, received the American Public Works Association, Michigan Chapter’s highest honor, the Harold M. Hultquist Award, in recognition of his long-standing service to the organization. A Senior Project Manager in our Taylor office, Dan has been actively involved in the Chapter’s Downriver Branch for more than 25 years. He has served on the board as Secretary/Treasurer for the past 19 years, helping to implement the Chapter’s goals on the branch level by fostering relationships between public works professionals, sharing technical information, and promoting organization membership and public works projects. Dan draws on 35 years of experience working with downriver communities where he provides day-to-day engineering services and design engineering support for roadway improvements, review of private development projects, capital improvement programs, and storm water, wastewater, and floodplain management projects.
