Welcome to the Wade Trim Foundation. Our mission is to positively impact the environment, communities, and quality of life through innovative infrastructure investments.

The Wade Trim Foundation began in 2023 to reflect a core value integral to Wade Trim and its employees: stewardship. We believe in supporting nonprofits and programs that serve others and make our local communities stronger. This philosophy drives our work and resonates throughout our entire company.

The Wade Trim Foundation supports nonprofits through annual grants, and recipients are selected for their alignment with the Foundation’s mission. The 2024 application is closed. The next cycle will open February 2025.

2024 GRANT RECIPIENTS

The Wade Trim Foundation awarded five $5,000 grants for projects that positively impact the environment, communities, and quality of life. Congratulations to the 2024 recipients and thank you for the positive work you do in our communities!

Metal shipping containers dotting the Bronx River are used to store Bronx River Alliance program supplies, and this grant will complete the remodeling of a container in Concrete Plant Park. The remodel will include a green roof for rainwater management and the expansion of pollinator habitat, increasing the beauty of the park and educating park users on the positive impact of green infrastructure.

Bronx River Alliance

The City of St. Johns is renovating a 20-year-old play structure in Main City Park into Fantasy Forest 2.0, which will be a modern playground without any barriers to access. The universally accessible, all-inclusive structure will create a space that all people can use to be active, stay healthy, and play with their peers.

Nine bathrooms within MCREST’s 45-bed homeless shelter for women and children will be renovated with this grant. The improved bathroom facilities offer a sense of security, stability, and normalcy to residents by creating a better living environment.

Macomb County Rotating Emergency Shelter Team (MCREST)

This grant will help furnish MCHS’s newly renovated Delaware property on their Redford Campus. The new property will create an expanded, cohesive space and welcoming environment for the Child Welfare, Adoption, and Unaccompanied Children programs and the families they serve.
