Wet Weather Practice Lead
dwhite@wadetrim.com
Managing wet weather flows to protect public health and the environment is a challenge in collection systems across the country. As Wet Weather Practice Lead, Dave evaluates complex stormwater, combined sewer overflow (CSO) and sanitary sewer overflow (SSO) issues and finds practical and sustainable solutions that achieve the required level of control and successfully integrate into an existing system without concern for surcharging and flooding.
Over the past 30 years, Dave has built relationships with numerous large utilities to rehabilitate aging infrastructure and address capacity limitations. He has managed and worked on projects in Cincinnati, Cleveland, Omaha, Indianapolis, St. Louis, New York, Pittsburgh, Miami, Fort Worth, Northern Kentucky, and Detroit. The depth and diversity of his experience can be attributed to his strong technical expertise in hydrologic/hydraulic modeling and design of infrastructure improvements including sewers, pump stations, and high rate treatment facilities.
Dave favors the maize and blue with Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Michigan.
