Ranging from the collection and conveyance of water and wastewater to the transmission and distribution of gas, conveyance systems are valuable assets that include the network of pipes, pumps, and control mechanisms. As Conveyance Practice Lead, Alan combines technical know-how with innovative, informed, responsive service to conveyance projects of all scopes and sizes, ranging from assessing and rehabilitating existing assets to building new assets for additional capacity.
Alan is a client-focused, forward-thinking leader with 40 years of experience in heavy civil engineering conveyance projects. He is especially skilled at recognizing emerging opportunities, defining and implementing complex and multidisciplinary projects, listening to clients to determine their needs, and developing value-added solutions. He has managed and worked on projects throughout the United States, including Idaho, Colorado, Illinois, Pennsylvania, Texas, Ohio, Michigan, North Carolina, and South Carolina.
Alan holds BS and MS degrees in Civil Engineering from The Ohio State University, and a PhD in Civil Engineering from the University of Colorado.
