Dennis has a long history of delivering challenging water and wastewater projects, utilizing various forms of project delivery. He has spent the last 25 years of his 34-year career managing multiple types of delivery contracts, coordinating closely with owners, and working with regulatory agencies for funding and permitting on large water/wastewater infrastructure projects. His expertise includes program, construction, design, and project management, as well as project controls and various forms of collaborative project delivery.

Dennis’s depth of knowledge comes from a broad range of experience working with large utilities in Detroit, Cleveland, and Tampa where he manages large capital improvement projects, project controls, and engineering and construction staff. He served in project management roles on the 23-year design-build-operate contract in Detroit for the largest biosolids facility in North America, as Deputy Program Manager for an 8-year $424 million Wastewater Treatment Plant upgrade in Detroit, and as Project Controls Manager on the 5-year $1.2 billion Capital Improvement Program in Cleveland. Dennis also spent a year in southern Afghanistan, where he oversaw design, construction, and design-build project services to support the $1.5 billion annual program for military logistics and facilities construction as part of the Logistical Civilian and Augmentation Program (LOGCAP) IV Contract.

Dennis holds a BS in Civil Engineering from Wayne State University, is a licensed Engineer in Florida, Michigan, New York, and Ohio, and is a certified Design Build Professional with DBIA.
