The Michigan Society of Professional Engineers (MSPE) named Breanna Anderson, PE, its statewide 2024 Young Engineer of the Year. The MSPE Awards Program honors its most esteemed members and considers nominees’ contributions to the profession, industry accomplishments, and community service.

With more than 10 years of experience, Breanna’s work ranges from small site improvements to larger, campus-wide assessments. Her passion for multidisciplinary collaboration has helped her guide clients through complex utility coordination and permitting processes. While her primary focus is site and utility design for private and public developments, she has also worked on trail, roadway, stormwater management, green infrastructure, and site/civil projects.

A member of MSPE for 8 years, Breanna is currently serving as Vice President of the Southeastern Michigan Chapter. In her role, she encourages member participation online and in-person by attending events and sharing chapter activities and meeting content on social media.

Breanna earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Michigan. She is a registered Professional Engineer in Michigan and Ohio.
