John Ciesielski, PE, has been named Wade Trim’s Industrial Commercial Energy Market Segment Lead where he will oversee the delivery of timely and cost-effective survey, design, and construction engineering services to a range of private industry clients. He draws on 14 years of experience in survey, site design, permitting, and construction assistance to support projects for gas and electrical utilities, as well as manufacturers, retailers and developers.

Passionate about growing our energy work throughout the Great Lakes Region, John has managed large programs for DTE Energy and Consumers Energy that encompass survey, customer contact, gas service lead design, gas distribution main design, permitting, work order development, material procurement, scheduling and project controls. He has also worked on a variety of adaptive re-use, commercial, industrial, and mixed-use site designs that include storm sewer, sanitary sewer, water main, soil erosion control and pavement rehabilitation.

John is a member of the Michigan Oil and Gas Association and holds a BS in Civil Engineering from Michigan State University.
